Avoid unfriendly soap

A handful of soaps out there are not friendly with the skin and not to talk of oily skin.

Beauty experts advise that you shouldn’t use any type of soap on your skin especially if your skin is not only oil-prone but also sensitive.

Make sure to buy and use soaps only meant for your skin type.

For a person with oily skin best choice of soap is a gentle and mild fragrance-free cleanser.

2.Don’t go too much on scrubbing

If I were you, I will not vigorously scrub my body especially my face when washing or taking my bath.

The reason is that if you go hard on scrubbing, it will strip off the oils your skin needs to remain soft and supple and it might just lead to irritations on the skin.

3.Don’t cleanse too much

Many people with oily skin ignorantly go way too much with cleansing.

Beauty experts make it known that if you go way too forward on cleansing, it will strip your skin of its natural protective barrier and which can lead to inflammations, redness, and acne outbreak.

4.Don’t eat much butter

Dermatologist believes that butter can lead to inflammations of the skin, and could lead to excess oil storage that could clog the pores, and make pores large.

5.Go easy on the chili

If your skin is prone to acne as it is one of the problems oily skin faces, go easy on chili.

Chili can create heat from within and which can make the skin oily, and it could just flare up acne.

I and a friend even experimented on this, and as soon as she finished washing her face with hot water, she started sweating a few minutes after, and which eventually left her face oily.

You can try it to prove me wrong.

Washing the face with warm water will help to balance the oil production of your skin and cleanse your skin properly.

7.Avoid touching your face every time

As tempting as it is, most people are used to touching their face at every given time and opportunity.

Even if you don’t have oil-prone skin, you should not be touching your face now and then because if you do, you will transfer germs from your hands to your face and it may lead to irritations and blackheads.

8.Don’t pop your pimples for any reason

As tempting as it is, you should not pop those pimples on your face.

Dermatologist and beauty enthusiast has made it known that popping pimples on the face will lead to scars, dark spots and red marks.

All you have to do is to rub your formula into your skin every night before going to bed
